Weekend in Prague
Happy Friday my Loves! Even it was a short week, I got a lot of things done. Probably because I didn’t want to leave the house, the weather was just too bad. Hopefully the sun will come out for the weekend!
Today I want to tell you a bit of my time in Prague last weekend. I totally fell in love with the beauty of the city. I must say I was really impressed with the stunning architectures, breathtaking views and great atmosphere and flair of the city. We already plan to come back by end of the month. :) It was a quite relaxed trip, we didn’t planned anything in advanced so we mostly had a stroll around the old town, visited the castle which has an stunning view overlooking the city and enjoyed the great weather. Now I know why the Charles Bridge is so famous, it is beautiful but totally crowded by tourists. I recommend going there early morning if you want to enjoy your visit. I also must say the old town was very crowded on the weekend, as we stayed until Monday, which was great as a lot of tourists left. If you have the chance to visit the city during the week than defiantly do that and thank me later. But if you are not in the main tourist streets, is the city very quite and peaceful. I loved the Charles Square park, it is a bit outside of the centre and is just beautiful with all the blooming flowers and cute coffee shops nearby. Here a few snapshots, hope you enjoy. I will write a travel guide after my second visit, so stay tuned for that! Have a nice weekend and as always thanks for dropping by!
Great Lounge atmosphere, delicious asian fusion food! Perfect for a chic and romantic dinner.
If you are a beer lover and want to try czech food. A few tables have there own beer tap, great if you are going out with friends.
Great Argentine food and wine. Also a good choice if you don't eat meat. Live music and spanish dance during the evening.
Such a cool and relaxed place. Feels like you are in a bar in Manhattan. Old James Bond movies are playing on an 80's TV, fireplace, dimmed light and music is slightly playing in the background. A great cocktail and whisky bar near the Old Town Square.
Fantastic place! Well-deserved award of the #8 best Hotel Bars in the World.
