The Christkindl Market Innsbruck is one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in the Alps, at least in my opinion. There are five markets around the city, everyone with exciting attractions and cosy traditional atmosphere. Every both is different with a very special flair. You will find woodcrafted christmas cribs and nut crackers, knitted gloves and hats, painted christmas balls and handcrafted angels just to name a few. Children will love it, there are so many things to explore, from the nostalgic carousel, pony rides and puppet theatres. Enjoy a glass of spicy mulled wine on the viewing platform at the golden roof or let your breath taken away by the magnificent view over Innsbruck at the Hungerburg market. One of my personal highlights is the 14 metre-high Swarovski crystal tree covered with thousands of glittering gems. A huge range of culinary delights and all kinds of Christmas awaits you.
